The COVID-19 pandemic totally changed the way people gather for events. Freeman needed to shift their business model to become a leader in virtual and hybrid event planning. What kind of roadmap, for planners, organizers, and attendees alike, will differentiate them in the market?
This strategy project was completed in about 8 weeks in collaboration with technology and product partners. The goal of the engagement was to understand where the market was shifting, what were the unique needs of every kind of stakeholder, and what future capabilities and technologies were needed to make the dream a reality AND return a profit for the business? Thanks for scrolling! My favorite part of this project was researching what new innovations, products, and processes sprang up out of the covid pandemic. The lockdowns shifted consumer’s behaviors and expectations so rapidly that it was eye-opening to take a look at the new normal for the event world and use those trends to our client’s advantage.
